Community Health Needs Assessment

As a not-for-profit, independent health system, Carson Tahoe Health conducts a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) every three years to better understand the most pressing health challenges facing the communities we serve across Northern Nevada’s Quad-County region.

By gathering input from community members, healthcare partners, and regional data sources, the assessment helps identify key health priorities and gaps in care. The insights gained guide Carson Tahoe’s strategic planning and community initiatives, ensuring our programs, partnerships, and resources are aligned to improve access to care and strengthen the health and well-being of our community.

The Action Plan based on the 2025 Community Health Needs Assessment will be published in early 2026.
