Visiting Hours

Based on guidance from the CDC and the principal of social distancing, Carson Tahoe Health is taking measures to protect patients, visitors, and staff from the potential spread of COVID-19. We are now allowing visitors, but with a few limitations.  Please see the full visitor policy here.

Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center Patient Visiting Hours

Visitor access to the RMC facility shall be limited to the following points of entry:

  • Main regional medical center (RMC) entrance (doors open from 5:30 a.m.-8:00 p.m.)
    • Visiting hours for non-isolation patients are 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
    • Visiting hours for all isolation patients are 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Emergency room entrance (this will be the after-hours point of entry)
  • If visitors come into the ED entrance during daytime hours, they will be directed (via signage and word of mouth) to get a pass at the information desk inside the main entrance.
  • If visitors come into the ED entrance after 8:00 PM, they can receive a pass at the ED registration desk.
