Among other support, we define community benefits as: improving access to health services; reducing geographic, financial or cultural barriers to health services; enhancing public health; advancing general knowledge; helping train future healthcare professionals; and supporting community organizations.

Carson Tahoe is dedicated to providing for the health and well-being of the communities we serve through our continued commitment toward charitable care. Every year, Carson Tahoe donates millions of dollars towards both uncompensated care and community health improvement services. The ability to provide charitable care and community support is a direct result of Carson Tahoe's sound business decisions and careful financial planning.

Karma Box
Karma Box is a community initiative that allows people to give non-perishable food, hygiene products, toiletries, and other useful items to those in need. You can find Karma Boxes at the Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center, Minden Medical Center, and the Specialty Medical Center. If it's empty, fill it. If you need it, it's yours.
