For more immediate medical issues that need prompt attention, but aren't life-threatening emergencies (e.g. minor fractures, minor cuts requiring stiches, severe cold or sore throat issiues, or urgent after hours care) 

Examples of ailments might include:

  • Minor Injuries:
    1. Sprains and strains
    2. Minor fractures (e.g., fingers, toes)
    3. Minor cuts and lacerations requiring stitches
    4. Minor burns
    5. Minor eye injuries
  • Illnesses:
    1. Cold and flu symptoms
    2. Sore throat or strep throat
    3. Sinus infections
    4. Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
    5. Ear infections
    6. Bronchitis and mild asthma attacks
    7. Allergies and allergic reactions (not severe or life-threatening)
    8. Fever without a rash
  • Skin Conditions:
    1. Rashes and skin infections
    2. Insect bites and stings
    3. Minor allergic reactions (e.g., hives)
    4. Poison ivy or poison oak
  • Minor Abdominal Pain:
    1. Mild abdominal pain
    2. Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea (without dehydration)
  • Diagnostic Services:
    1. X-rays and diagnostic imaging for minor injuries (e.g., sprains, fractures)
    2. Lab tests (e.g., blood tests, urine tests)
  • Vaccinations and Immunizations:
    1. Flu shots
    2. Tetanus shots
    3. Travel vaccinations
  • Minor Procedures:
    1. Abscess drainage
    2. Removal of foreign objects
    3. Suture or staple removal
  • Mild to Moderate Dehydration:
    1. Intravenous (IV) fluids for dehydration
